Letter from the Administrator

Hello all. I am so excited about the strides we are making at Mission Pines. Our resident vaccination rates are improving greatly. We have also convinced some staff members to take the vaccination. I would like to thank you all for being a community champion. Staff that have been vaccinated do not have to wear a face shield in our general population area. This is another step in our process of getting back to the way we were before COVID. Please keep in mind that the vaccination plays a major part in this process. If you have any questions about the vaccination, please make contact with the nurse management team. Our Medical Director is willing to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Our communal activity/dinning participation is greatly increasing. Please keep in mind that residents that are not vaccinated must practice social distancing and wear a face mask during these events. With the increase in our number of vaccinated residents this will soon not be an issue. On June 1, 2021 all Nevada state-issued mitigation restrictions ended with the exception of wearing a face mask. We are looking forward to outings and allowing you all the opportunity for new adventures. Mission Pines soon will be able to offer the COVID -19 Vaccination in-house. We want to make the process to receive the vaccination for everyone as smooth as possible.

We are aware of the recent telephone malfunctions that have been taking place here at Mission Pines. We are actively working with our telephone providers to correct the issue that has occurred due to the changes within the telephone systems. If you are unable to reach the facility via the main number, please feel free to call 702-488-2065. As always thank you for allowing Mission Pines to be your facility of choice. For updated COVID-19 information please call our hotline at 1-725-600-6344.
